Our next meeting on Tuesday October 14th will be
somewhere else new! We will be meeting at the Mosher Media
Studios at 1815 W. Market St. in Akron. The facility is
also next door to the Rubber City Radio Group, studios for
WONE-FM, WQMX-FM, and WAKR-AM. Members &
Guests attending this event can see the AkronBuzz TV studio,
the Rubber City Radio Group radio stations, and also
have a look at the studio used by Jumpstart Video Productions.
We will also see a brief presentation on the cameras
and equipment used by Mosher Media as their gear will be
out for display and discussion.

Our next meeting on Tuesday September 9th will be somewhere new! We’re at the Cleveland office of Mills-James Productions in The Bradley Building at 1220 West 6th Street, Suite 407 Cleveland, Ohio 44113. The Bradley Building is right next to the Greater Cleveland RTA HQ. Our host will be Scott Lanum VP of Teleproduction. Mills James is the region’s leading provider of remote studio services to the nation’s major television networks.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, August 12th at the Salem Broadcasting studios located at 4 Summit Park Drive, Suite 150, Cleveland, OH 44131, off of Rockside Rd. in the Summit Office Park. They are in “Summit 4” which is the farthest building back. Go just past BP gas station and the driveway is right after you pass the Skyline Hotel and Conference Center. Follow the signs to Summit 4, and we will be in the back on the patio area.

We delayed the meeting again this month and it
turned out to be well worth the wait. We will be meeting
on Tuesday July 15th at FOX 8, 5800 S Marginal
Rd, Cleveland, OH 44103. Pull into the first driveway,
up to the gate, and the guard will direct you where to
park.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday June 17th back at
Bird Electronics, 30303 Aurora Rd., Solon OH 44139. The
program will be a 2-parter. We have a new DVD from the
National SBE about the 50th Anniversary and what that
means to us. The second part will be from Lynn Strube of
Bird to let us know what they’ve been up to in the past few
years and where they are heading for the future.

Our next meeting has no program. It’s time to picnic!
The Election/Picnic meeting on Tuesday Aug. 13th
will be at the Cleveland Metro Parks Hinckley Reservation
Redwing picnic area. This is an enclosed building
with plenty of parking, electricity, outdoor grills, tables
and facilities. The location is off Route 303 between
Ridge Rd. (94) and State Rd. You can take I-77 or I-71
and get off at the Rt. 303 exit and head towards the
other interstate, (east from 71, west from 77). From 303
go to Hinckley Hills Rd. and head south to Bellus Rd.,
turn left onto Bellus (east). Coming from I-271 get off
at Ridge Rd. and head north to Bellus Rd. and make a
right (east). Once on Bellus heading east look for West
Dr. (Metropolitan Park West) and turn right (south). The
Redwing area is ½ mile or so on the right down a
driveway. (See the parks service map on Pg 2.) For
